E 30 / EF 30 high voltage coil former
Sections: 6
Coil former for EF 30 and E 30 core geometry, especially to construct high voltage transformers.
If you construct transformers for high output voltage, it is recommendable to divide the high voltage winding into multiple sections, because the dielectric strength for enamel isolations often does not last for layer winding. Furthermore the parasitic capacitance of the high voltage winding will be reduced to a more practicable value.
Usually the low voltage winding is wound into the bottom section directly on the mounting flanch. Then the high voltage winding has to be arranged among the other 5 sections.
